Old Mac (white) Monitor Calibration......

Well, I have owned my Mac (20" white) now for the past couple months and I have some questions regarding Calibration.

-I use the Spyder2Express Calibrator and I have jusst calibrated my monitor...it made little to know change.

  • My question is, I shoot a lot of Black and White and my images look fine on screen but when I go to print out on My Epson R1800 printer, they print quite dark and cool (blueish tint). I am not getting that true Black and White I see on screen along with the fact that my images are brighter on screen that what is printed. Can somebody share with me what setting might be at fault or maybe I am not prepping the print process correctly, any advice?
