I found my favorite "normal" lens

Just picked up a good old M42-mount Yashinon-R 35mm F/2.8.

I did a Google search but could not find any information. Maybe because it's too old.

It is of preset type, which I like because the aperture ring is so smooth (no detents). I haven't had a chance to test it extensively but it is the cutest in my lens collection.

Here is a test photo of my son's small bookcase with no post processing. Not a detailed test, but I like the contrast:

Here's a photo with an equivalent Mamiya/Seckor 35mm F/2.8 on the left and a Pentax FA50 F/1.7 on the right for comparison:

It's small. The front thread is 46mm diameter. But it is as heavy as the larger Mamiya at 228g. The Pentax FA50 is 176g.
