...yes, should be, but there is a worldwide confusion about that. A full color 'spot' should be called a pixel, a color 'spot' which is a part of a full color 'spot' should be called a dot. A few people do so but many, including pro printer, Adobe (Photoshop), camera manufacturers and many others, don't. The people who do so are logically right and I should do so too.
