Yes after you removed all the tags in your stock photos, you can quickly remove all the tags it created on the left tag tree in Windows photo gallery. To do this exit Windows photo gallery and search for files & folders.

You have to remove two files called pictures.pd4 and NavTree.state, they are located in a hidden folder. [drive letter]:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery

So to find them use the advance search and select search results in everywhere.

Delete these two files and then re-open Windows photo gallery. Windows now will re-generate all the photos and tag information it could take time on a slow computer and if there's lots of pictures.
