My own tests confirmed to me that the focus point also changes depending what side of the focus point you come from (close focus or infinity).

These small focus errors are certainly noticeable at f3.2 for close subjects on my own 21mm DA. I tend to shoot landscapes > f8 with it though so I'm not overly concerned.

It's not ideal for a limited lens. Although I'm still not convinced that it's the lens that is the problem. Wide lenses don't have much focus travel compared to longer lenses so this probably puts more pressure on the autofocus accuracy. Combine this with wide apertures and the problem only gets more noticeable.
