I know a few have mentioned places to get the Canon D60. Does anyone know of any places that will have them right now? (patience is not one of my virtues S )

I'd check your local camera stores. Sometimes these are the last places people look. When buying my D30 a local store had one come in only a week after I bought it mail order. Suprisingly, when I called I was their first enquiry and would have had that camera.

I also started calling every mail order retailer I could find. It didn't take long before I found a few that put me at the top of their lists. Also, if not your local store, another towns might do the trick. Sometimes there will be a small shop that is allocated two of them but doesn't have the customer base to sell them. Work the phones.

Me too. The waiting is just unbearable and it won't be for another 2 wks or so before I see mine.
Alycia, patiences isn't one of mine either, but there is a long wait for all of us! You may want to read back a few weeks and you will understand that the D60 just came out and it is in BIG demand right now!
