worth buying a Canon EF 50mm f1.8 mk II?

Of course it's worth it!

It will be your sharpest lens. At f1.8 it can take picures your other lenses can't get close to (low light, very low DOF), at f2.8, it is sharper and shows more detail and color than either of your other lenses. At f5.6, it is as sharp an any lens at any price (my opinion, of course). All you gotta do is zoom with your feet!
