Some photographers can be such @ssholes.

Hiya GAREB,

You're quite right of course. Just arguing with someone nowadays often ends up escalating to the point of violence.

I personally try to be carefull in public. To show consideration to others in the hope i get the same consideration back.

Oh well, sign of the times i suppose. And i doubt it will get better with this "I want it all, I want it now" generation. I hate to think what the next generation wil bring. "I want it now, or i'll blow your head off" ?

Allready it seems that every weirdo comes out when it's a full moon.

Thanks for the reply.

Hiya mpmp,

Why is there always one who/that wants to correct every thing/body on forums like this. By forums like this i mean with an International audience.

Dont you ever make a mistake.

BTW, The Queens English @ss might be A/RSE. But i'm quite sure to the Yanks it is @ss.

Whatever, i'll grant you the point. I'm in no mood to argue this any further, not when i have to blow out the candles in a few minutes.

So, as far as i'm concerned this thread is dead for today.

See you all tomorrow. Have a good day all. And hé, lets be carefull out there.
Some photographers can be such @ssholes.
The Queens English is thus:
A/RSE
NOT
A/SS
!
Cheers

I agree fotonut I photograph a number of steam trains (sad I know) but there is always some idiot standing in front or needs to put their hand on the train I had my last chance of photographing The Flying Scotsman(now on 3 yr overhaul) ruined by some idiot who would not stand to one side while I took my pic despite being politely asked.Thankyou for raising this so I could have my rant as well.Regards,Stan

Hé you're welcome. We all need to blow off steam sometimes. No pun intended.

The fact that i gave him the thumbs-up on two occasions when he
jumped right in front of me is probably a sign of bad communication
skills too.
Heh. Here in the USA the "thumbs up" sign means "everything is good/OK!". But I've heard that it means something else in other countries. :-)

And other can be such idiots, infusing a reasonable conversation with such nonsence tha one would hope that that person might just stay away while other have sensible and reasonable discussions of things of importance.

In case you are not inteligent enough, and I'm sure you're not, this coment is refering to you.
Thanks for taking the time to learn something.

While I am not the OP I just can't help to ask....

Why pull up a 2 year old thread? And what the heck are you trying to say?

I am not a photographer, I’m just a guy that takes pictures.

I expected a bit "more" since we've all been waiting with baited breath since July of 2007!

I look forward to September 2010 for your next opus....

It's strange, the Kodak forum seems to be experiencing some stiring and abuse from people who have posted very little, but who have had an account here for quite a while ( year+) ....Is there a pattern is showing here...wonder if any other forums are getting newbies who have hardly posted, and then all of a sudden start posting?

Hi all,

Not sure if i should reply to Mr Reese. He sure seems ticked of about something. And boy can he hold a grudge.

Maybe he's p!ssed of because he got no answer on his printer thread.

Anyway, i enjoyed reading this thread again.

Btw for those wondering, i haven't been back to that particular event. And i don't think i'll go this year either. Had to go to Rotterdam yesterday to deliver my daughters A920 for repairs under waranty. The town is a mess at the moment. Major roadworks going on in a big part of the center of town. Add a Million or so visitors and it will be chaos.
