Gx100 DNG files on a Mac question ?

The DNG files created by my GX100 can't be viewed by either 'iphoto' or 'preview' (a pop up message says the files are either corrupt or a format not recognised). This is despite the thumbnails for these DNG files being displayed in a 'finder' window. Does anyone know of a solution for this ?

(I'm using OSX 10.4.1)
 
Well, I'm using Aperture and it's not supposed to open Ricoh's dng's but a while back someone here posted a hack via someone from the Leica forum that was quite simple to exicute and it added Ricoh to Aperture - which i was very happy about.

Sorry I can't give you some more direct help. Maybe you should put a post on the Mac forum too, there are a few Ricoh users there...
