Yeah, my understanding is WB has no effect on the RAW file no matter what lighting condition. Noise is not increased by inacurate WB settings unless you are shooting JPEGS. Now with the camera set up with the custome curve linear+uniwb your cameras histogram will be a lot more accurate for exposure. You'll then correct WB in post, make sure you have a grey card in your shot to select with the eyedropper though.

Now where does not changing ISO come into play? I understand the
principle that I could as well bump up the exp in PP but what is lost
by bumping in camera?
