Many say this, but I think it isn't quite true. Image stabilization gains 2-3 stops, whereas ISO of the fuji is 1-2 stops better, I think than sony's. Look at the dpreview review of the fujis6000fd. The results of ISO1600 on the fuji are somewhat worse than those at ISO 400 on the H2, in my opinion, which give less than 2 stops gain. I'd say they are comparable to the sony at ISO 800.
