Is stunning (Then again, i'm biased)

Great contrast of landscape, but in a very small space. Perhaps we don't have the biggest or best of anything, but we've got a beautiful slice of everything if you know what I mean...

No snakes at all, only one dangerous spider which is practically extinct, no crowds and no worries
The benefits of having a population of 4 million...

The far north for deserted black or golden sand beaches, The central North Island for its geothermal activity (Like Yellowstone on a smaller scale) and the South Island for everything from golden beaches, mountains, whale watching, glaciers, fiords and rain forest...

Plus, its comparitively cheap with our weakish dollar...
