I would tend to agree. Now that I've gotten my camera settings taylored to my liking and have figured out what needs to be done in Photoshop, I can get very DSLR-like images out of my SD1000...under certain conditions.

None of these point and shoots are a replacement for a DSLR, but if you know what you're doing any of them are capable of great images.
