Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 Overexposured flash shots

For the most part of the year I have liked the Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 very much. However I didn't realize the problem until today after I was shocked to see so many flash shots are over exposed by a full stop.

I have compared three lens at 50mm focal length. The Nikkor 18-70, Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 and the Tamron. At the same aperture, all lens meter the same shutter speed. No problem here. The problem starts when I open the on-board flash and set it to iTTL-BL mode. All Tamron shots show a full stop over exposure compared to all my other lens. I see lots of blown highlights. I also tried a Sigma 105mm f2/8 just to compare. I don't see the problem.

The wired thing is, if I use FV-lock on the camera, the flash shots have perfect exposure!

I had the same problem for both D70 and D200.

Have you had the same problem?
