My D40 & D40x Comparisons Coming Soon!
Although I already have a D40, I have been able to acquire a D40x for the next several days. I will be mainly shooting the same subjects with identical lenses. I'll try to get enough photos to span the ISO range.
I also will include finely detailed landscape shots for my usual 18 x 12 print sizes. I have shot a D200 since inception and I am very much use to how that camera renders the kind of work that I do. You can visit http://www.discoveryforyoureyes.com to see some of my work.
Although I personally don't often shoot at ultra high ISO values, as I get older- a smaller more refined package really makes sense to me. I have tended to leave the heavyweight camera at home lately.
The lenses I will be using are the 18-70mm AF-S, 17-55mm f2.8, 70-300mm AF-S VR, 50mm f1.8 and the 85mm f1.4 primes.
If you have any requests, let me know! I'll use this thread to update the photos in the next few days.
