I got this unit to be a simple walk about to capture more than my
usual target images and to also do some behind the scene work.

Only having taken 9 photos to far, all in varied test modes and
also being a Pro series person I doubt I am yet able to create any
real review other than to say so far I am pleased at what it can do.

The AF assist had my "girls' going nuts as I played but I did
manage to get a couple of good shots and I have included it here
for viewing along with a link for the actual download of the image
should anyone wish for "analysis".

The photo taken in my basement with very poor background light and
with not much thought to anything but to see what it can do.
So far I am very pleased at it's features and functionality, my
image print off was excellent.

Thank you very much for the sample picture.

It was taken with flash though, right? And with on-board flash alone?

Here are some EXIF data I gathered from your picture:

Max Aperture Value = F5.28
Metering Mode = Pattern
Flash = Flash fired, auto mode
Exposure Mode = Auto exposure
White Balance = Auto white balance
Focal Length In 35mm Film = 126mm
Scene Capture Type = Normal

Sharpness = Normal
Sharpening = AUTO
Focus Mode = AF-S
Flash Setting = NORMAL
ISO Selection = AUTO
Image Adjustment = AUTO
Tone Compensation (Contrast) = AUTO

Noise Reduction = OFF
Image optimisation = NORMAL
00AC = VR-ON

Thanks again.

Wonder if you can show some low light hand-held pictures without using flash, so that we can see image quality at higher ISOs such as 100, 200 and 400. Also like to see how well VR alone works at slower shutter speed (low light) for hand-held shots. (Don't need to see Anti-Shake or High ISO mode pictures)

Thank you very much in advance.
