my first model

i metered correctly at f/8. but i bumped up the exp in lightroom to get the bg white...i came out abit grey in the original.....ill need to kick up the bg lights a bit more next time to maintain the pure white bg. so ur cc is 100% correct...thNX

awesome...thanx for the nice visual......i have a shoot tomorrow and will definately meter it higher than key......and ofcourse at 2/3 higher...lol...

Nice. I would tone down the whites of the teeth and eyes. It's not that they are so white but are glowing. Changing the layer mode to color vs. normal usually works for me when using a Hue/Sat. adjustment layer.

thanks for the pp advice....and u were right, i used the normal layer.....so color layer it will be for the hus/sat adj.......thnx!

As Chuck G. mentioned recently in another thread I think. You really only need to worry about lighting correctly the area surrounding the subject. It is fairly easy to add white to the "gray area" in photoshop through layers, masks, paint tools, etc.
