Brought a 30D and a 400mm lenes at christmas, got quite a few sequences like this last weekend. Should have brought one sooner.Been using differant panasonic cameras.

You certainly have learned to use that lens and camera quickly. Very nice shots. I hope to find another snowy this winter. Got only sitting pictures last year. Enjoy your camera and very fine lens.

Ive been busy shooting Snowies through January with the same hardware. They are magnificient birds.
 
Hi, I'm in southern ontario where are you shooting? Do you use a 1.4 or 2x converter on your lens.

Very cool shots. I have a hard time determining which one is my favorite. I like the ones where he's looking into the camera, but the wing extention is better on numbers 2 and 3. Either way. Thanks for sharing.

I love them as a sequence - the way the owl turns towards the viewer is so cool!
