You've been waiting for this one ..... The muffler-post

Janneman's Dynamic SR test, K10D style.....

Same mufflers:

Different job, different equipment:

This time it was not some mowing but to pick up dead leaves. had to use a different peice of apparatus as because of the Chicken-pox, the leaves were on the grass too long and sticking to the lawn.

To be honest, the K10D SR struggled sometimes but I have a strong suspicion that that may be due to this lawnmowers suspension, there is more "wobbly"movement as opposed to the more vibration on the other lawnmower and wobbly is more movement, with greater moves but somewhat slower...

A result of the wobbly behaviour is that you "aim" might be thrown off the AF-C immediately tries to refocus I guess. Also the movement is too long for the SR (almost panning-like).

SR off:

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/30s f/5.6 at 68.0mm iso400

SR on:

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/30s f/5.6 at 68.0mm iso400

SR off

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/20s f/6.7 at 58.0mm iso400

SR on:

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/20s f/6.7 at 58.0mm iso400
I think 1/20 is pushin it a bit in this one.....

SR off:

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/20s f/8.0 at 68.0mm iso400

SR on:

Pentax K10D ,Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC IF ASP
1/20s f/8.0 at 68.0mm iso400

although 1/20 looks not bad here
