G2 Nodal Point???

Does anyone know where I might find information on the nodal point for
the G2. I did a search and found someone who posted information on
the G1's nodal point last summer. Their tests show it to be 5mm in front
of the centerpoint of the tripod mount for (zoom=tele), and 36mm for
(zoom=wide). A month later somebody replied saying these numbers were
wrong.

My question is, are these numbers correct and are they the same for both
the G1 and G2?

You can find the G2's nodal point by using the information on this page:

I haven't yet done it for the G2. Perhaps someone can post their results?

Thanks Gary that gave me a clear explanation of what I need to do
to figure it out myself.

If anybody else has done this and would like to post their numbers
feel free.
