Software - Across A Network and with Multiple Users?

Hi,

I've been shopping around for a PC software solution that will help 3 people to organize a collection of about 20,000 photos. My requirements
1. original photos be stored on a single file server
2. several computers can read the database
3. several computers can modify the database
4. local thumbnails be saved or copied for speed (would be nice)

Am I missing an obvious choice out there? I've scoured the forum and come up with iMatch, IView, Picasa2, Portfolio, Lightroom, JetPhoto.

I'm dealing with 80% jpgs but an increasing number of RAW files.

iMatch mentions network access, but the UI and usability is a bit lacking... Picasa doesn't seem to support simultaneous access, Portfolio Server is a bit of an overkill, iView looks nice....

Any suggestions, experience, success stories with these solutions or something else?

Cheers.
