Banding?

Fantastic! How I've missed the banding posts. I thought all serious light bulb photograhers had moved to Canon;-)
I can't see any. Looks like you got a good one.

Your images don't show banding. However, here is an example from my D200 of short banding which I believe Nikon would call 'acceptable'. It's the horizontal lines coming from the candle flame that is what we call banding.

humm...ok. I'm happy know, but i want it see, if possible, some
samples with bading....

Why? Do you really take pictures of light bulbs for a living? You have no banding in those images. I have yet to see anything close to banding in my D200 and I take pictures almost every day.

I may be wrong, but to me it looks like detail from the lamp shade. Either way it looks as though that particular camera has a great sensor! :-)
