Hi there

I'm Indian and I'm pretty sure the celbration is Depavali (some people call it Diwali). But it's possible that they called their celebration Deepanjali.

It's ok. You've covered the colors. One aspect of traditional Indian dressing, especially girls is the colorfullness. You've done a great job capturing it.

Not being Indain myself I can't say with 100% assurance here this
morning, but before I posted I asked my friend the proper name of
the event and that's what he said. It's also what it said on the
printed program.
I wanted to make sure I honored it properly.

A quick google search on Deepavali though proves your point.

With regards to more stage-oriented activity, the stage was pretty
sparse for most of the performance, but here are a few more. As
