EJS just gave the following simple solution for keeping nozzle area humidity high, in response to my query arising out of this thread.

I made a plexiglass tray 14"x2.5"x2.5" and filled it with household sponge.

I soak the sponge with water and place it inside my Pro4000 during periods of non-use.I only > turn the printer off if it's a long holiday or I go on vacation.

I hang a bright 3" wide orange ribbon starting from inside the printer and hanging out and > down the front.

[to remind himself not to try to print with the tray and sponge inside]

I hope EJS doesn't mind being quoted on a bright idea and simple solution that may help...
