Yeah, probably a good deal, but...

...to someone switching over from film to digital, it's difficult to convince them that 6MP will be just as good for their purposes as the new 10MP models that are coming out. To be a generation or two behind the technology curve right at the start is not very appealing. I know, I know, there are many reasons why this doesn't matter...but remember, this is not for me it's for my father.
