SD800 corners - non-forum POV

I downloaded a 28mm pic from DCRP and printed an 8X10. If I looked, the corners are definitely blurry. I asked my wife's opinion, since she is not into the finer points (pixels) of photography. What a beautiful picture, she exclaimed. Do you see anything wrong with it, I said. No, she replied, it's really nice. Well, I said, what about the corners? The corners, she said, what about them? They're blurry I replied. Oh, she said, I didn't even notice.

This is sort of like a small pimple on your nose - a mountain to you, barely noticeable by others. I'll probably buy the SD800 because it's competitors seems to have more serious problems (I do a lot of shooting in low light without a flash) but if I could only stop looking at those corners!
