Lens selection question
I will purchase my first digital slr next week (rebate) with a lens or two. I am planning on buying the 30D. My budget to get started is somewhere in the neighborhood of $2500.
I spend about three weeks a year in the Cody, Wyoming area. So one of the main reasons I am getting this equipment is to photograph wildlife in that area (Yellowstone etc.).
In addition, I want to take some action pics of my labs which I compete with in AKC field events.
After reading much of the helpful info on this site, I have been debating between the 70-200L is 2.8 and the 100-400L. And maybe picking up the 50mm 1.4 for taking the rare pic around the house.
I would appreciate any input, Thanks
