Taking night shots … (14 pics F30)

Some of you might have seen the first one – it's my entry in the main catergory of the last Fuji Mugs Challenge. Thanks again for voting and commenting!!!

But I really enjoyed capturing the scene in a series and the other two shots are fun too. Hope you'll enjoy.

1. @ F5, 1/4s, ISO 400, EV -1/3

2. @ F5, 1/4s, ISO 400, EV -1/3

3. @ F5, 1/4s, ISO 400, EV -1/3

Like some of you, I am also curious to know what these 'night shooters' were shooting. However, I was on the opposite side and standing quite far away from them. All I could guess is they're trying to capture some prominent commercial buildings in the background and waiting for a moving tram in the foreground ... BTW, if you're interested to know how our buildings in the CBD look at night, here are some photos I took recently. Nothing creative, just plain recording of the buildings I like more:

4. The Star Ferry Clock Tower (This is gonna be a memorable shot – it would be demolished to make way for new development soon.) @ @ F2.9, 1/4s, ISO 200, EV -1

5. Legislative Council Building (left), Two IFC (middle), HK Club Building (right) @ F5, 1s, ISO 100, EV -1.67

6. Two IFC and Legislative Council Building @ F2.8, 1/2s, ISO 100, EV -2/3

7. Legislative Council Building @ F2.8, 1/30s, ISO 1600, EV -1

8. Bank of China Tower and AIG Tower @ F3.2, 1/25s, ISO 400, EV -1

9. Bank of China Tower and Cheung Kong Centre @ F2.8, 1/38s, ISO 400, EV -1

10. Cheung Kong Centre (left), Bank of China Building (middle), HSBC HQ (right) @ F2.8, 1/20s, ISO 400, EV -1

11. Standard Chartered Bank Building and HSBC HQ @ F5.6, 1s, ISO 100, EV -1.67

12. HSBC Headquarters @ F3.2, 1/5s, ISO 100, EV -1/3

13. The Court of Final Appeal @ F3.2, 1.5s, ISO 100, EV -1.67

14. The Court of Final Appeal and Citibank Tower @ F2.8, 1s, ISO 100, EV -1.33

As always, comments and advice will be much appreciated.

Best regards,
HP
