D2X Firmware updete problem

After installing D2X Firmware update 2.0 all runs fine except the option to assign Hight-Speed Crop to FUNC button.
I set it in new FUNC. + command but it won't work as it did before.
Anybody had the same problem ?
It's my fault i have not understood the way to set it

Hi the only thing it seemed to do was changed the command dials back to their original orientation and reset the film counters to zero ? Other than that there has been no problems whatsoever with both the D2x & D200 firmware update's.

Trying and trying again finally i got the solution.

1 - go to f5 Func+command in CSM menu and check High Speed Crop;

2 - press the FUNC button and keeping it pressed rotate the Main command dial: High Speed Crop is now activated;

3 - redo n° 2 to deactivate this function.

It is set in the function + Command dial option.

You can't change to HSC mode just by pressing the FUNC button.

Installing the firmware resets these setting so you need to assign it again.

After installing the FirmWare update on my D2X my Tokina 12/24 goes 'rrrrrrrrrrrrr' and won't focus.

Thats strange, after reading your post I tried my Tokina and it focusses fine.

Strange,.. I took the Tokina off, put a Nikon 17/55mm on, changed it back, fiddled wit the AF and MF on the lense and now it works fine...

What a relief!

Maybe the contacts must be cleaned.

It's not the firmware it's that what the Tokina 12/24 always does when it's not handled like a raw egg. Just dismount/mount or AF/MF it.

After the Firmware upgrade Nikon view reports: "Auto Flash Mode: Optional TTL " After update view from version 6.2.5 to 6.2.7 it shows Balanced i-TTL

But no longer the info "Auto Flash Comp: " It is gone in 6.2.7 !

In Capture NX 1.0.1 - 15247 also: "Auto Flash Mode: Optional TTL-BL "

"Auto Flash Comp: " is oke in Captute NX and also Sensitivity like 0.7 EV over 800

Other have the same ?
