Thanks for your kind comments, Juza.

1. The battery life is down from 600+ to a little under 500. Keep in mind I tend to leave the review on and rarely switch the camera off. I always carry a spare battery so really don't see it as a problem, especially given the big advantage the new LCD brings.

2. I think there is a slight improvement over the 350D. This was taken 800ISO, handheld 1/100s with the 400mm lens and using onboard flash as a fill:
