Pentax is really being idiotic Locked

Pentax is keeping up with its reputation of not following the herd, that's for sure. Nobody is bringing out primes like Pentax, and especially not APS-C primes. There aren't that many APS-C dedicated primes at all - the only one I can think of is Sigma's 30mm, apart from Pentax.

Pentax is also producing lenses in focal lengths and designs that aren't just 'me-toos' of what the other companies have. That's a good thing. And they pretty much all are tiny for their focal length. F/2.4 isn't that bright, but there are a lot of times I'd be happy to put up with that for a small, light lens.
