So the error is in the news entry from dpreview. A true 70mm lens
IS a 70mm (or thereabouts) on a 35mm sized sensor or film plane,
whereas it functions (in terms of it's angle of view) on a 1.5
sensor like a 105mm would function on a 35mm image plane.

I guess one can read it that way (if one so wish). In the Pentax forum the lens is called for a 70mm lens (pancake style). Too bad you formulated the topic title that provocative. Now people are having fun with your post.
