Yes, Tucson is a great place for HB's

Tucson is slightly higher in elevation that the Phoenix metro area, and there is more wildlife closer to the town, which of course is smaller. There is the Saguaro National Monument(s) (both east and west of the Tucson metro area), and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum west of town, which is quite an awesome place and great place for photography.

I believe it is there where they have bird sanctuaries where you can walk into an enclosed (outdoor) habitat for different types of birds, including humming birds.

My wife's family is from Tucson, and I spent 3-1/2 years there in the early 1980's while attending the UA, and lived there later on from 1995 to 1998.

If you get a chance to go there, please let me know!

Best regards.

Jack
