New Model Preview F707-T314B, pre-order accepted now!

The TCON-300 is for the OLY 62mm, right? If so, could you put the Sakar Titanium 2x (58mm-back and 62mm-front threads) between the F707 and the TCON-300 and maybe skip the TCON-14B?

There is also a Titanium 2x with 62mm front and 62mm back threads (not sure how this would work - may be a type-o).
That is : F707 + TCON-300 + TCON-14B

BTW: I'm interested because I live in a house on stilts next to a bayou south of Baton Rouge, LA. The 25x optical zoom on my Sony digicam works great for shooting critters on the bayou from my back deck so I'd like the same for my F707. The built-in 5x on the F707 is fine but by the time I enlarge for a critter the resolution is as bad as my digicam!

In fact, there should be something from 58-> 62mm between the F707 and TCON-300 if not a ring thread.
r

I think the mount should be more generally design with flexibility that it does not only accept F707. This may involve assembly of at least two mounting components and leave some margins for this flexsible connection.

Another point to consider is I would wonder if the Sakar Titanium 2x would produce quality at the level of TCON-14B and TCON-300. For me the reason I am dreaming of this is the superb quality. A higher factor telescope costs less, but it probably could not give the image quality at this level?

Correction: The Titanium 2x is made by digital optics see

And yes, the highest quality should be had!

1. Handheld Operations
2. Tripod Operations
3. Flexibility for connection with other DC
...

This would involve some study on a design for handheld work and extension for connection to a general tripod that allows full dimensiion rotation of this entire power gun :D

If we do not consider the magnification factor, the TCON-300S does not have the quality of the 14B.

The 300S is mounted to the E-10 with an external supporting arm. It may not be easy to modify the supporting arm to fit the 707.

new mount tailor made for this. It could be completely a new design of work.
