Of course ACR can do batch conversions.

You just pull as many pictures as you want into it. Get the conversion you want on one. Copy it and paste it to all the others. I do it all the time. And then you can save all those shots in one action.

That's precisely why so many pros love shooting RAW. And a LOT of them use ACR

It doesn't matter which tool you use if you don't find the time to know how to get the best out of it.

Get hold of Rob Sheppard's "Adobe Camera Raw for Digital Photographers". It's an excellent resource.

When people talk about A or B havin better colou rendition, they are usually talking about Auto settings, which I don't advise you to use ever anyway.

I do like the Noise Ninja plug-in in Bibble though. I'm thinking of getting it as a back-up as it enables you to batch process jpegs too.
