Canon UV Filters

Anyone Tried Canon UV Filters Are They Worth The Money Or Better Get A B+W MRC Filters For Lens Protection Use Only. I'm Not A Professional Photographer.

I have no personal experience withnteh Canon filters, but have read in previous threads that they are not among the best. I use B+W MC and am very happy w/ those.

I've got one on my kit lens, and it seems to work just fine.

B&W and Heliopan are the best. But the Canon ones are pretty good. They are made by Tiffen. My only complaint is that they are softer glass and scratch more easily. I usually buy Heliopan for the lenses I use a lot and Canon or Tiffen for the ones I don't use that much.
