The Star Ferry … (9 pics F11)

... is one of my three favourite means of transport (the Tram and Peak Tram being the other two, a little touristy they may appear). Founded in 1888, the Star Ferry is not only the oldest but also the most efficient, relaxing and yet inexpensive mode of crossing the Victoria Harbour. To me, it’s also an important link to the memories of the old days, especially when I was a schoolboy and doing funny things on the ferry with schoolmates everyday ...

I’ve just created a new folder to collect some of my snap shots:

1. These stairs look almost unchanged for years … @ F2.8, 1/25s, ISO 200, EV -1/3

2. I'm always drawn to the colorful shops … @ F3.2, 1/42s, ISO 400, EV -1/3

3. “Welcome aboard” … @ F4.5, 1/45s, ISO 200, EV -1/3

4. One of the numerous warning signs … @ F4.5, 1/45s, ISO 200, EV -1/3

5. I missed the lower deck … @ F3.6, 1/90s, ISO 200, EV -2

6. Reminds me of my childhood … @ F8, 1/240s, ISO 80, EV -1

7. The “Star” … @ F8, 1/1000s, ISO 80, EV -1

8. Another departure … @ F8, 1/550s, ISO 80, EV -2

9. See you again … @ F5.6, 1/500s, ISO 80, EV -2

Comments and advice much appreciated.

Best regards,
