Ken statement was correct for the time it was spoken, 1977. A computer defined then took at least a room (DEC minicomputer), consumed lots of power and could do little of interest for an indivdual that a handheld calculator couldn't do. It's just what a computer is now and what it can do have changed.

What's your point?
