A2 sees Pleides with stacking

I'm continuing experimenting using the A2 to see stars. Tonight I took 16 5-sec exposures at ISO 64 of the Pleides at 200mm. I tried out registax which registered, derotated, and stacked the images. It didn't turn out too badly. Definately worth experimenting some more. I like that I'm picking up the blue color of the cluster stars. I wish I could get the intervalometer to do better than 30sec between exposures though, but the nice thing is that you can just leave it alone. The sequence was shot jpg xfine and the images had simple auto levels applied with no other post processing.

I think that if I put the A2 on a telescope drive and took about 50 exposures, the A2 could actually do a decent job.
