We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast...

Greg, I like the lighting and tones here. I'd suggest you look more closely at the alignment of the vertical lines in the 2nd and 3rsd shots, plus the framing of the last one with the top of the building cut off. Apart from that, I'm sure the owners of the businesses would be happy with your efforts.

Thank God! Pictures! :)

I love the ambient light. I think you really captured the essence of the available light.

The images do however look oversharpened to me. I'm seeing some "jaggies" and some jpeg artifacts (look at the lines of neon). Not sure what you did to post process these, but I'm seeing some kind of issue with the clarity of the image.

But good overall.

Thanks. I do need to go back and fix the alignment of the buildings. I think some of it is due to the shift from a fairly wide lens pointing up. But I guess this is a good time to learn how to correct that in Photoshop.

I wish the owners of the business were paying me for this, but I shot this for myself. :> )

Yes, my thoughts exactly.

I see that now that you mentioned it. All I did besides process the RAW file was cut it down to 72 DPI and 400x600 pixels and some USM. I guess the resizing created the jaggies. Any clue on how to not create jaggies while resizing?

Thanks to Lou, I have gone back and reworked the pictures. I have attempted to straighten them and cut back on the sharpening. The two pics you see in the first post are the reworked pics. The two missing are because I renamed them after I reworked them. They are the two you see in this post. Let me know what you think.
