DxO Optics Pro - Not getting great results

Hello:

I think is fixes distortion and pincussioning quite well...What is does not correct is camera tilt induced prespective keystoning...Such as buildings that are leaning...This is often confused as distortion...

Hi Larry,

I guess I can understand why you would use Fred Mirandas CS2 sharpening action (I will try this myself), however leaving Highlight Recovery on is a big question mark. Just do some comparisons with it on and off and you will see some unnatural contrast and color saturation. I see this option as a case by case one rather than for general batch use.

Hello John:

You are correct in that Highlight Recovery is best left off the majority of the time...The interface on the DxO is still a bit confusing at times...Supposedly one can make a change in expert or key strokes and save the settings and these will also be used in Auto, but I'm not so sure...Stilling getting the hang of it but so far I like it overall...
