That, and reading more posts

I did not write my comments to stir the pot, or start a debate, but I've been around this forum and others enough (wayyyyy too much!) to see the obvious trends, as have many others. It's not rocket science, and it's nothing negative or meant in any way to be condescending...it simply is what it is.

If someone used a DSLR for any amount of time, and changed lenses, used flashes, filters, polarizers & all that jazz, they would certainly find out quickly, that a an optical viewfinder is not only a must, but a welcomed change from the P&S world.

The upside of digital, is that it has introduced 10's of thousands of people to photgraphy, who would never have picked up a camera otherwise. The downside is that the habbits "some" of these people form are considered to be rules in thier mind, and they feel that a feature like a live preview is a must , which anyone with experience will know to be funny.

So, thr beauty is that there's a camera made for any newb to pro, and while everything is a compromise, it does not mean that you can't own 2 or 3 of the things!
