D200 vs D70 Dynamic Range graph

That is odd - my D200 nails it. Are you using the RGB histo or the all in one version?

Try doing a PRE WB on a gray card, then shooting a frame - it should be perfect.

Other ideas are maybe the lens you are shooting with is not performing that aperture correctly - that has been known to happen - try it wide open. (But then of course you may get vignetting, which will blur your sharp line in the histogram a little)

Just checking you didnt use the exposure fine tuning? I think that once set is invisible to the user. No custom curve loaded? Normal tone curve set?
