E330 - two things I don't like
1 - I was looking for a mag body.
Unless you plan on hammering nails, the body will be sturdy enough for most uses since the target here is the sub $1k range. The E-300 seemed sturdy enough, I don't think I heard of the body flexing because of normal usage, so I think you'll be alright. Unless of course you're using it for carpentry.
2 - My preferred way of shooting
with my 5060 is to compose, adjust exposure, white balalnce, etc
while looking down at the fold-out screen. It doesn't look like
this is possible with the E330.
You can adjust exposure in Live Mode A. As for WB, hopefully that is just a firmware issue. There is no reason you couldn't manually set WB before hand on a grey card or something then compose and adjust exposure. Sometimes depending on the tool we change slightly the workflow, but it will still get the job done.
