Price of Compact Flash dropping down!
Price of Compact Flash dropping down!
Jan 14, 2006
It's amazing, I've been in one of the main tech shops chain today here in Switzerland, and all the compact flash prices were decreased by 50%.
So I've been able to purchase a Sandisk Ultra II 2 Gb at 165 Swiss francs (126USD) instead of 345 Swiss francs (265 USD). And this was on all compact flash brands/models. The 4Gb Extreme III 4Gb was "just" 400 Swiss francs (307 USD) instead of 800 Swiss francs (612 USD).
The sales guy told me that actually all prices are at the moment dropping down, due to the fact that this is not anymore "new" in the Hi-tech new product cycle! Don't know if you all saw this trend in your local stores.
