Which one?

I am looking for a nice telephoto lens to accompany my D200. I had decided on the 80-200 f/2.8. But I just recently saw the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 and have put some thought into it. Any suggestions on which would would be the better one to go with? Or know any reasons not to choose one over the other? The price difference between the two isnt too much so I'm not too worried about that. I would just like to know which is a better quality lens. My bet is on the Nikon but I may be wrong.
