I want to send my 20D off to be checked out (I'm sure it's front focusing, but I don't want to open that can of worms) can anyone tell me the address to send it please. I have phoned the help line and a recorded message says to check the website for local service agents, but I can't find them anywhere on there.

Also, any idea how long it takes to have a service and calibration ?

Took my 20D there last month to have CMOS sensor cleaned, did it there and then took one hour, very helpful.

How much did they charge for a sensor clean?

Also do you know how much a service is?

£ 30 for a sensor clean not sure about a service.

Send it to Lehmanns Direct. I sent once mine to Canon RCC and it was a mess, I ended staying without camera for 2 months. After reading so many positive comments about Lehmanns I sent mine there last month to calibrate the focus and I got it back in a week. The service was great, the focus is now perfect, and they were most helpfull and friendly.

Lehmanns are based in my home town of Stoke on Trent their address is
H Lehmann Ltd, 247/249, London Road, Stoke on Trent, Staffs.
Tel No 01782 413611
They are an Authorised Canon Repair Centre and very firendly to deal with.

Another alternative - I used them to replace a shutter. (£200)

I think the full service is around £150.

Both Fixation and Lehmanns are worth a call as there is the impression of a much more personal service (not the call centre feel)

Thanks everyone. Called Canon and they emailed me a list of agents, inc. Fixation. I think I'll use them. I'll let you know how I get on.
