Re: Why Not Pentax?

I am sure the color and tonality is fine with the Pentax. all I can say is when I looked at a lot of pictures taken with different cameras I preferred the e-300 for some reason. I had had the Olympus E-10 and always been pleased with its color and tonality. This was replaced by the Canon 10D and for some reason I was never quite as satisfied.

One thing I'm reading quite often is how much people love the color
on the E-300. I find that funny, but when I tested it in the store
I was rather unimpressed. Granted, it wasn't a complete and
exhaustive test, but it was a first impression that was hard for me
to shake.

I also find it funny that some folks like the appearance of the
E-300, because it gets ripped by almost every reviewer for it's
"quircky" look -- it never bothered me, though.
