FZ5 Body Repair
Does anyone know what exact type of plastic the FZ5 body is made out of?
I ask because part of the housing on my FZ5 snapped off - it's the piece that sits flush with the pop-up flash, right above the flash "open" button. Luckily this piece seems to serve no vital purpose other than to cosmetically cover the hinge mechanism. However I would like to find the right adhesive to try to glue it back together so it would help to know what type of plastic it really is.
On that note, I never seem to have any luck gluing ANY kind of hard plastic. Super glue, epoxy, model cement -- they never hold for long. I'd like to find something a little better than these useless consumer products. If you have any suggestions I'd be interested in hearing them.
