Hahahaha! duty calls. I'll wait. I just had a thought though. I'll be if you try the slight overexposure experiement, you'll have to dial the contrast to the lowest setting in the menus. Otherwise you'll probaby be blowing our highlights like crazy.
I've heard that RAW tends to have more dynamic range than jpegs out of the camera, but the stair well RAW file from yesterday wasn't too convincing. I do see a smidge more shadow and highlight detail in my E1's RAW files, but the in camera jpeg engine is so good, that I attribute the diff to my having set the camera jpeg settings poorly.
